CLC Life Groups offer a space for people to devote themselves to biblical teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer. We seek to reflect the early church’s unity, generosity, and growth, nurturing each person’s spiritual formation to be with Jesus, become like Jesus, and do what Jesus did.
CLC Life Groups gather in homes, coffee shops, the church and other places where people love to connect.
What to expect at your Life Group…
Food
At every Life Group, you’ll start or finish the night with a meal together. I mean who doesn’t love to eat right? Some Life Groups are family style and everyone brings a dish to share, and others your host will provide the meal.
Scripture
Each life group discusses the word of God, using a sermon-based curriculum and discusses questions that help us face day-to-day life as followers of Jesus.
Friendships
We were never meant to do life alone. Joining a Life Group allows you to link arms with other believers so that when the hards times come you’ll have people to walk through them with you.
SERVE
Every life group will take on at least one serve project per term. Something special happens when we come together and serve!
Here at CLC we exist to make thriving disciples of Jesus who make more disciples of Jesus. Therefore, one of the key vehicles on our discipleship pathway is engaging in community. This is why we believe Life Groups are a key aspect of our DNA. In order to be thriving disciples of Jesus we must link arms with other believers; making disciples in a healthy church environment. A healthy church and spiritual growth happens in the context of long-term relationships as we do life together and care for one another; using the Bible as our navigator.
This is why we have made it our goal for 2024 to have 80% of our regular attendees experiencing significant relationships & care through Life Groups. Let’s be intentional about making disciples in a healthy church environment by joining a Life Group today! Your participation makes a difference!
