What is baptism? It’s an outward display of what’s taken place on the inside of you! Baptism is publicly declaring that you are choosing to die to and bury who you used to be (submerging under the water) and are now choosing a new life in Jesus Christ (coming out of the water)! Life Groups
One of the absolute best and fastest ways to grow is to get involved in a community! We believe that we were created for community! When we live in community, people are able to experience and witness the fulness of the Gospel! Fortunately we have just the thing, Life Groups! You serve bro?
Jesus said that he didn’t come to be served but to serve! He’s giving us a pattern to be able to experience life to the fullest! We believe that every believer, whether new or old, is a minister with a ministry! We also believe that our church has been placed in this community for the community!
Serve on the regular
There are lots of places you can serve within the rhythm of the church! Take a look at the opportunities here (link to NEW serve manual) and find your niche today! If any of these interest you, fill out the serve application here (hyperlink) and someone will be in contact with you within 3-5 business days!
Help with the BIG community events
We believe we’re in this community for the community. Because of that we do several BIG, community events throughout the year where CLC rallies together to serve! It could be an end of school year block party, a fall festival, or a Christmas outreach. Whatever it is, we need LOTS of help! If you want to put your name down to be involved for the next BIG event, fill out the serve application and under where it asks if there’s a specific ministry you’d like to serve in, put “BIG EVENTS!”
Do we trust God?
Tithing is an act of obedience and it’s also a way that we express our trust in God! Tithing says that we believe God can do more with 90% than we can do with 100%. We believe that when we go “all in” on God, we experience life to the fullest! Checkout bible verses. The easiest way to bring the tithe and offerings is to go online and set up your recurring tithe!
Keep growing!
The faith journey is NEVER completed until we get to Heaven! It doesn’t matter where we start or where we’re at. What matters is what direction we’re headed in. Here are some FREE resources to help you keep growing as a disciple of Jesus Christ!
