FAQ…

What’s happening?

For the past several years, the Holy Spirit has been speaking to Pastor Joe about transitioning into a new season. After praying about it and openly dialoguing with the CLC board and CLC staff, he’s excited and anxious as he feels now is the time that the Lord is calling him and Debbie out!

Who’s going to be the next lead pastor of CLC?

Both the CLC board and the CLC staff unanimously believe that the Lord has brought Pastor Nate and Alissa Palisoc back to Chambersburg for a time such as this and that they should be our next lead pastors!

What’s going to happen with Pastor Joe?

Great question! We’re excited to say that Pastor Joe is NOT stepping down, he is merely stepping to the side. He will continue on as a staff member at CLC and will be our Teaching & Visitation Pastor.

Is there anything else happening with the staff?

We hope not :) We love our team and believe that the best is yet to come!

TIMELINE:

Different ways you can partner with us in prayer:

Pray for unity. The enemy loves to be divisive and could use this as an opportunity to brew division among the church family. Let’s pray against that and pray that the Holy Spirit would help us to love each other and extend grace towards one another even more in this season!

Pray for the leadership team. Stepping into a new season is always a little nerve wracking. Our Pastors are human and experience all of the same emotions everyone else does. Pray that the Lord would continue to fill the leadership team with His peace and with His wisdom as we all excitedly start a new journey!

Pray for our community. As we pray for the inward health of our church family, let’s not forget that God has placed us in the community for the community! As we move into our next season as a church family, we want to be more intentional with bringing the love of God to every heart and home within Franklin County!
